About Our Parish

Vision Statement

         We the people of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Community of Corcoran, MN, journey together in faith under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  We seek to share experiences of life and prayer with a spirit of invitation and hospitality.

         We build on a century of rural traditions to promote the Kingdom of God, steward of our resources with justice, encourage service to our community, and proclaim our faith through religious formation programs for all ages.

         With the Holy Spirit, we will manage our continued growth with openness to new traditions and strength to meet the challenges of the future.

Mission Statement

         St. Thomas the Apostle Parish is a community where families and individuals seek holiness, and grow in faithful service to God and each other by;

         Celebrating sacramental and liturgical moments together, especially the Eucharist.  Encouraging prayer and other spiritual activities in our daily lives.  Ministering to each other, demonstrating through our actions the presences of Jesus for our neighbors.   Building spiritual growth through educational formations.  Evangelizing through a spirit of welcoming, openness, and acceptance.  Being good stewards, sharing of our God-given gifts of time, talent, and resources.

         We embrace this mission in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
