Youth Ministry / The House Next Door (THND)

Mission:

St. Thomas Youth Ministry seeks, with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary our Mother, St. Thomas the Apostle, and all the Saints, to bring middle and high school youth into a deeper relationship with the Living God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Bringing the youth to Christian maturity,  through friendship we will develop a culture of reverential intimacy with God and His Saints that we all may be transformed in Christ through the Sacraments, Prayer, and the Word of God, enabling the youth to Live the Gospel and become Saints who bear witness to Jesus Christ by their Faith, Hope, and Love.
In Omnibus Glorificetur Deus.


THND (the youth house) is open Wednesday evenings throughout school year from 6:30 - 7:40 for grades 6-10 (older teens welcome too!) Come to hang out, come to pray.

 
Join me in the Church for some Adoration time with Jesus every Wednesday between 5:30pm and 6:30 pm (if You dare... He will change Your Life - r u ready?)

 THND is in need of:
  • Crucifixes
  • Monetary Donations for Icons, Religious Pictures and Statues
  • Monetary Donations for Books
I would also like to start a decent Catholic Library at THND to provide Catholic Bibles and orthodox, Catholic catechetical and spiritual resources for the youth.  As I have particular books in mind, your monetary donations are very much appreciated.

There is a donations/alms jar for the Youth Ministry located just inside the doors to the parish center.

Cameron, do we have a THND "cookie jar" for cash donations? Seems like something we should place in the entry to the community hall, clearly labeled "THND Cookie Jar" and with a description of what the funds will be used for. Just a thought.
