RCIA: Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

RCIA (also known as OCIA) instruction in the Catholic faith is for those seeking to enter the Catholic church and those who would like to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of their Catholic faith.

This program is for adults who have received some Christian sacraments, are in a different Christian denomination, or are not Christians. During this program, we walk with each candidate individually to ensure holistic spiritual and intellectual formation. We use the Symbolon series from the Augustine Institute (see intro video below).

Classes begin each fall and meet on a weekly basis until just prior to Easter. Candidates are initiated, baptized, or confirmed at the Easter Vigil annually. The life of faith is a journey towards union and intimacy with Christ throughout one’s whole life, and this is only the first step of many! May God bless your discernment; know that you are being prayed for!
