First Saturday Devotion

First Saturday Devotions: As a powerful means for our parish and families to grow in holiness, and in our respective apostolic work, we will again have the First Saturday Devotion at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. There will be confessions from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM. The rosary starts at 7:50 AM prior to the mass at 8:30 AM. Please join us in this beautiful devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The mass will be in the Novus Ordo English form (new order) of the mass with some Latin inserted at parts.

The Blessed Virgin Mary told Sr. Lucia at Fatima, "I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me."
