OCIA: Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (formerly known as RCIA) is an instruction in the Catholic faith for adults who have received some Christian sacraments, are in a different Christian denomination, or are not Christians seeking to enter the Catholic Church, as well as those who want to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of their Catholic faith. Classes meet every Tuesday evening at the St. Thomas Parish Center, room 12, at 6:30pm, beginning September 15, 2026, and continuing until right before Easter. Candidates for reception into the Catholic Church or completing their initiation will receive their sacraments at the Easter Vigil. The study will make use of Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained to provide a systematic presentation of the Catholic Faith. It will lead you through the "big picture" of the Catholic Faith, and our Creed is the guide. Symbolon brings together some of the most trusted Catholic teachers in the world to guide you through the breadth and richness of the Catholic faith.
